Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2012 is off to a great start!
For all of you that are aspiring (or established) writers, I sincerely hope that your writing goals are met this year. Personally, I’m quite behind in mine. But this newly-minted year has brought me fresh perspectives and my goals will finally be realized.
At the top of my list, my long-awaited novel The Orphans of the Creek is sure to be released soon.
Also, I am preparing a short story collection. My working title is Tiny Tales from Scanlon Creek, all set in the long-suffering community that has served as the backdrop for nearly all of my sordid stories.
Both will be available in eBook format at first with hard copies to follow.
For all my wonderfully loyal readers (and readers-to-be), I certainly thank you for your patience. As you might know I had been caring for an elderly relative for well over a year, putting me behind in my writing and other activities but as I always say, family comes first. Now that I have been discharged of that responsibility, you’ll be getting more me of than you might be able to handle.
So to thank you for your support I’ll soon be providing all my blog subscribers with a free teaser short story download from the upcoming eBook collection. Watch this space for more details soon!
See lots more of you in 2012!
If you’re a writer, write. And if you’re a reader, keep reading. We need you!
